)Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercisesAssist with social activities and mental stimulation, such as crafts, baking, coloring Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do soPerform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidentsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessaryQualificationsEnjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related dutiesExperience with dementia/Alzheimer's care preferred, but not requiredValid driver's license and reliable transportation every single dayValidated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsPrior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)Willingness to enforce health and safety standardsSupportive and compassionateHigh School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA ProgramTake pride in providing high quality careHoyer Lift Experience preferred, but not required (specific to client)About the Company:
