Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic counseling services to children and their families.
Services include but are not limited to:
o Clinical consultation/evaluation/assessment, counseling, group/individual, or family therapy, anger management, parenting skills development, stress reduction, symptom reduction, problem solving skills development, adaptive and coping skills, and psychoeducation related to mental health.
Utilize short-term evidence-based practice/interventions based on the needs of the child and family.
Create and implement treatment plans.
Participate in children's family team (CFT) conferences.
Complete progress notes and required paperwork in a timely manner.
Participate in supervision (based on license requirements) Consistent communication with supervisor and agency's administration.
Completion of mandated trainings.
Requirements:
Master's Degree LAC, LSW, LPC, or LCSW One year experience in the mental health field Consent to and satisfactory background check.
Valid driver's license and abstract (not to exceed 5 points) and reliable transportation.
Computer literacy.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Clinical supervision towards licensure is available.
Compensation:
$55-$90 per hour based on licensure level and experience.
Behavioral Assistant Pristine Home Health Care is seeking an applicant to provide behavioral assistance services within Passaic and/or Bergen County.
Responsibilities:
Conduct therapeutic services within the home or community.
Assist children and families, addressing behavioral issues.
Working with children and families with the goal of strengthening skills in:
o Physical and mental well-being, interpersonal communication and relationships, social interactions, behavioral conduct, adaptive coping strategies and behaviors, and recreational/leisure activities.
Participate in children's family team (CFT) conferences.
Complete progress notes and required paperwork in a timely manner.
Participate in supervision.
Consistent communication with supervisor and agency's administration.
Completion of mandated trainings.
